Huntington Beach police on Thursday released a surveillance image of a man who robbed a U.S. Bank branch.

The thin white man, 25-30 years old and about 6 feet tall, came into the branch at 9042 Garfield Ave. about 9:25 a.m., Saturday and a handed a demand note to a teller, Huntington Beach police Lt. Mitch O’Brien said.

The note said he had a weapon but none was seen, O’Brien said.

The robber, who had dark hair, fled with an undisclosed sum of cash.
