A male juvenile was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in Santa Ana, police said Saturday.
The victim was shot near the intersection of West Fifth Street and North Laurel Street at 6:40 p.m. Friday.
A videographer at the scene reported witnesses saying the victim had been shot in the torso.
Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said the victim remained in critical condition early today.
There was no suspect description, Santa Ana police Sgt. Robert Rodriguez said.
