Authorities Tuesday sought the public’s assistance to locate a woman they described as distraught and possibly suicidal over the ending of a relationship.
Sonia Gutierrez, 26, was last seen in the 31000 block of Calle La Purisima at 1:40 p.m., Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Jeffrey Hallock said.
This was after Gutierrez had repeatedly called a friend and spoke of taking a drug overdose, Hallock said.

Gutierrez subsequently left her residence in a vehicle and had not been seen since, he said.
She was unhappy about a recent breakup with a boyfriend, Hallock said.
Gutierrez was described as five-feet, four-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a red long sleeve sweater and blue jeans. Her vehicle is a blue 2007 Toyota Yaris with a California license plate 5WTK064.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call (714) 647- 7055.
