One firefighter suffered minor injuries to his hands and feet Sunday battling a three-alarm fire that broke out at a Garden Grove high school.
The fire was reported at 1:15 p.m. at Bolsa Grande High School at 9401 Westminster Ave., and brought under control by about 2:20 p.m., said Garden Grove Fire Department Division Chief of Operations Jeff Sparger.
The injured firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The fire broke out in a wing of eight classrooms, damaging two extensively, Sparger said. The other six classrooms sustained water and smoke damage and the entire wing would likely be unusable when classes resume Monday, he said.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
