A suspect held up a Union Bank branch Monday in Irvine, but no one was hurt, police said.
The robbery occurred just before 11:40 a.m. at 5311 University Drive, according to Farrah Emami of the Irvine Police Department. The suspect gave a demand note to a teller, but he did not show a weapon, she said.
The suspect appeared to be in his 30s, about 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 and weighing about 230 pounds. He was wearing a blue baseball cap and a dark gray hoodie.
