Hoping to generate leads, Orange County sheriff’s investigators on Wednesday released video of a robbery at a Verizon store in San Clemente.

The robbery happened about 7:20 p.m. Sept. 16 at the store at 120 N. El Camino Real, according to Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock.

The suspects demanded iPhones stored in the back and fled with numerous iPhones, Hallock said. They did not show a weapon or threaten the employees, the lieutenant said.

The suspects fled in a late model, gray or light-blue Toyota minivan, Hallock said.

The number of iPhones taken was unavailable until employees took inventory, Hallock said.

The suspects are Latino or Asian and are about 5 feet 7 inches with medium builds.

Anyone with more information was asked to call investigators at (714) 647-7000. Anonymous tips may be made to Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS.
