Two men accused in a Santa Ana home invasion robbery pleaded not guilty Thursday to felony charges and may be responsible for numerous other robberies in the city, according to police.

Alfonso Cisneros, 35, and Javier Cabezas, 46, both of Santa Ana, are charged with robbery, burglary, criminal threats, false imprisonment and assault with a firearm.

They’re accused of breaking into a residence about 9:20 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of South Sycamore Street in Santa Ana.

The three victims told police the suspects tied them up, and one victim was pistol-whipped while the thieves stole cell phones, a modest amount of money and a gold chain.

Investigators suspect the defendants may have been involved with numerous robberies in the south central side of town and asked anyone with information to call Detective Dan Aguilar at (714) 245-8443.
