Police in Orange on Wednesday asked for the public’s help finding a 14-year-old girl that police say has run off with her 22-year-old “boyfriend.”
Sarai Arce did not return home from school in Orange Friday and her mother called police. She later found out that her daughter was dating a neighbor, Abel Reyes-Fragoso, according to Orange police Lt. Fred Lopez.
Fragoso has relatives in Mexico City, “which leads us to believe they’ve gone off to Mexico,” Lopez said. “They probably used public transportation to Tijuana.”
Fragoso’s vehicle was still at his residence, Lopez said.
