A robber held up a Chase bank in San Clemente Monday, and authorities believe he robbed same bank earlier this month.

A white man in his 50s presented a demand note to a teller at the Chase branch at 905 N. El Camino Real about 1:40 p.m., Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock said.

The robber got away on foot, he said.

The same man is believed to have robbed the same bank on Dec. 8, Hallock said.

The suspect was wearing a baseball-style cap, a tan jacket and a white shirt with gold stripes, he said.
