An intoxicated man made off with a bicycle outside a Huntington Beach eatery, only to crash it a short distance later into a cement trash can and lose some teeth in the process, police said Friday.
The suspect was located by officers and taken to an area hospital his injuries, according to a news statement from the Huntington Beach Police Department.
The suspect made off with the unsecured bicycle outside of BJ’s Restaurant, 200 Main St., about 11:50 p.m., Thursday, pedaled across the street and crashed.
The bike was late returned to the victim, according to the news statement.
