Two men were charged Friday with the murder of a man gunned down in an Anaheim park.

Adam Jay Stone, 28, of Anaheim, is charged with murder and also faces a sentence-enhancing allegation of personal discharge of a gun causing death. Co- defendant Ransom Lewis Cook, 24, of Westminster, is charged with murder and faces a sentence-enhancing allegation of arming himself with a gun.

The two are charged in the killing of 29-year-old Alexander McMoore about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday at Twila Reid Park. Stone shot the victim in the head and ran back to a getaway vehicle, with Cook behind the wheel, prosecutors allege.

Authorities have not commented on a motive for the shooting.

Stone faces up to 50 years to life in prison if convicted, while  Cook could face up to 26 years to life behind bars.

They are scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 23.
