The Orange County coroner’s office Sunday released the name of a woman who apparently jumped to her death onto the bed of the San Diego Creek in Irvine.
Seventy-seven-year-old Eva Lai of Irvine was found on the riverbed at about 8 p.m. Friday in the 4050 block of Barranca Parkway near the West Yale Loop, according to the coroner’s press release. The coroner’s release stated it appeared she jumped from above.
