Two men were killed in high-speed single-vehicle crash in Irvine Monday night.
The accident occurred on the transition lanes from the southbound Eastern Transportation Corridor (133) to the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway around 9:05 p.m., a California Highway Patrol officer told a videographer at the scene.
Both victims, identified by the Orange County Register as being in their 50s, were ejected from an Econoline van, the CHP officer said.
