Authorities Tuesday released the name of a man fatally struck by a vehicle in Stanton.
Roger Hammarlund II, 35, of Costa Mesa was struck by a pickup truck in the 11800 block of northbound Beach Boulevard around 5:40 p.m. Monday and died at the scene, the Orange County Coroner said.
No charges are now pending against the driver of the pickup, said Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Gary Strachan, adding that the victim was not in a crosswalk when he was struck.
