Orange County sheriff’s investigators asked Thursday for the public’s help in tracking down a 27-year-old woman who hasn’t been seen since early Sunday following a night of partying.
of Laguna Hills went out on a date with her on-again, off-again boyfriend on Saturday night, and they met friends at the Sutra nightclub in Costa Mesa, according to Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock.
She and her date met another couple at the club and the four left together about 1:30 a.m. Sunday to continue partying at Alonso’s companion’s home near Culver Drive and Deerfield Avenue in Irvine, he said.
The couple that Alonso and her boyfriend befriended at the nightclub left his residence about 3:45 a.m., Hallock said. Alonso and her boyfriend then got into an argument, and she left his home about 10 to 15 minutes later, Hallock said. There has been no trace of her since then, he said.
Alonso has not shown up for work, used credit cards or made any other financial transactions that could be tracked, nor has she participated in social media or used her cell phone since she left her date’s home in her 2014 Honda Civic EX, Hallock said. The license plate of Alonso’s white, four-door car is 7FSS563.
Investigators would like to get in touch with the couple Alonso and her date befriended at Sutra to get their account of the night’s activities, Hallock said. They drove Alonso and her date to his home in a red Scion FRS, he said.
Alonso is Latino, about 5-foot-3 and 110 pounds, and has long brown hair and brown eyes, Hallock said. She lives with her mom and her sister, he said.
