An overnight driver’s license and sobriety checkpoint in Dana Point netted five drunken driving arrests and one drug-related arrest, a sheriff’s lieutenant said Saturday.
The checkpoint began at 6 p.m. Friday and ended Saturday at 3 a.m., said Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock.
Hallock said 623 drivers were screened at the checkpoint.
