Services for Crystal Cathedral and “Hour of Power” founder the Rev. Robert Schuller are set for April 20.

The 10 a.m. public funeral service will be followed by a private burial for the televangelist, who died last Thursday of esophageal cancer at age 88, according to Bonnie Balloch, executive assistant to Schuller’s grandson, Bobby Schuller, who now hosts the weekly “Hour of Power” televised service.

The funeral will be held in Christ Cathedral Plaza, formerly known as the Crystal Cathedral until the Diocese of Orange acquired the property in bankruptcy.

A “Celebration of Life,” featuring the Hour of Power Orchestra and Choir, will be held on April 30 at 4 p.m., Balloch said.
