A Chase bank branch was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon in Mission Viejo.
The holdup occurred about 2:40 p.m. at 23992 Alicia Parkway, according to Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock.
The suspect — clad in an Air Jordan T-shirt and a fisherman’s hat — demanded cash and showed a teller a silver handgun, Hallock said.
The robber, who made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, was described as a black man about 40 years old, 5-foot-10 and 225 pounds, with short hair.
The suspect is not believed to be linked to any other recent holdups in the area, Hallock said.
