
Drunken driving was suspected in an injury collision late Saturday night in Hunting Beach, fire officials said.
The accident happened at around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of Edinger Avenue and Gothard Street, Huntington Beach Fire Capt. Rob Glenn said.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the two drivers injured and one requiring extrication, he said. No one else was in the vehicles. Both victims were transported to a local trauma center for treatment. Their conditions were not known.
DUI was suspected in the crash as alcohol was found in one of the vehicles. Huntington Beach Police Department are investing the accident.
