A Westminster pharmacy was robbed of an unknown amount of money Monday night by a lone armed gunman.
The robbery occurred at the CVS pharmacy in the 15400 block of Brookhurst Street around 9:45 p.m., Westminster Police Department Sgt. Cliff Williams said.
The cashier was the only person present in the store at the time of the robbery and was not injured, Williams said.
It was not clear if the robbery was connected to other pharmacy holdups in Orange County, Williams said.
The suspect was described as 6 feet, 4 inches tall, wearing a black jacket over a purple shirt with black jeans. He also wore a black cap with a white insignia, Williams said.
Footage from a surveillance area showed the suspect left the scene on a bicycle, Williams said.
