An assailant left a man walking bloodied on a sidewalk in downtown Santa Ana early Friday, authorities said.
The victim told police he was stabbed in a parking lot attached to Original Mike’s restaurant in the 100 block of South Main Street.
A passerby saw the bleeding man walking on the street and called police about 1:20 a.m., Santa Ana Police Department Commander Jose Gonzales said.
The suspect was hospitalized in stable condition with a stab wound to the upper body, Gonzales said.
Police found no suspects, witnesses or crime scene at the parking lot, and asked for the public’s help, Gonzales said.
