Maybe this diet was a bad idea for an Orange County driver.
A motorist said he simply blacked out when he crashed his vehicle into a bus bench in Orange, sending him and a man sitting on the bench to a hospital with minor injuries.
The crash occurred in the 100 block of North Tustin Street, said Lt. Fred Lopez of the Orange Police Department.
“He (the motorist) thought he hadn’t eaten,” Lopez said. “It was just an accident and everybody is going to be okay.”
Alcohol or drugs were not involved in the Thursday evbening crash, he said.
