A 37-year-old gang member stabbed a 22-year-old man to death during a fight at a Laguna Niguel bar triggering a search for the killer, authorities said.
Being sought is Craig Tanber, “a documented gang member with a significant criminal history” who should be considered armed and dangerous, said Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock.
“He frequents the south Orange County area and the city of Huntington Beach,” Hallock said of Tanber, who is white, 6 feet 1, 190 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes and numerous tattoos covering his body.
The stabbing at Patsy’s Irish Pub at 28971 Golden Lantern St. was reported at 12:15 a.m., Monday according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. There was no immediate word on what prompted the bar fight.
The victim — identified by the Orange County coroner’s office as 22- year-old Shayan Mazroei of Laguna Niguel — was transported to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
