Police Thursday were looking for at least two suspects who bound and gagged a paraplegic in his Anaheim home and made off with cash.
The victim told police that two suspects dragged him out of his wheelchair, tied him up and put duct tape on his mouth before ransacking his home in the 800 block of West Wilhelmina Street and stealing his money about 10 a.m. Wednesday, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt.
A neighbor heard murmurs for help about 6:30 p.m. and called police, Wyatt said.
The victim, whose name was withheld, said he saw two suspects and heard the voice of a third person, the sergeant said.
The man was taken to an area hospital, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, Wyatt said.
