Ten to 11 vehicles and four garages were damaged during a fire at a large apartment complex in Anaheim, authorities said Saturday.

The apartment units in the 2300 block of Ball Road were separated from the involved garages, which sustained a total of $175,000 in damage, said Sgt. Daron Wyatt of the Anaheim Police Department.

Firefighters dispatched to the scene at 11:30 p.m. Friday had the fire under control at 12:02 a.m., according to a fire department dispatcher.

The fire occurred across the street from an Anaheim Fire Department station.

Three to four vehicles inside the involved garages were damaged and seven vehicle across from the garages sustained some heat or smoke damage, Wyatt said. The fire caused $100,000 in damage to the structures and $75,000 worth of damage to the contents.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
