The fire was reported at 8 p.m. Tuesday aboard an Egg Harbor yacht in a do-it- yourself area at the Sunset Aquatics Shipyard at 2901 Edinger Ave., said Capt. Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Authority.
The fire was under control by 8:23 p.m., he said.
Two fire investigators were looking into the cause of the fire and estimated monetary damage, Concialdi said.
