The driver of a pickup truck was killed early Monday morning when the vehicle crashed into a pole near the Disneyland Resort, police said.
The Anaheim crash at Walnut Street and Laster Avenue was reported at 12:38 a.m., said Anaheim Police Officer A. Hernandez. He could not say whether the victim was a man or woman.
The blue extended-cab pickup truck sustained heavy damage, and firefighters extricated the victim from the wreckage, a news videographer reported from the scene. There was no immediate word as to the cause of the crash.
