A 61-year-old man’s bloody body was found inside a Stanton motel room and Orange County Sheriff‘s homicide detectives were investigating the case as a homicide.
Sheriff’s deputies were summoned to the Chester Inn Motel at 10890 Beach Boulevard after an employee discovered the dead man inside the victim’s room, Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock said.
“The victim was bleeding and suffered from numerous traumatic injuries,” Hallock said. “Homicide, crime scene and coroner investigators responded to process and collect evidence from the scene.”
The victim name was not released pending notification of kin, he said. The grisly discovery was made SAturday mid-morning.
