A 19-year-old man was fatally shot early New Year’s Day on an Anaheim street, police said Saturday.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at 3:40 a.m. outside 325 S. Bush St., Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt said.
They found a male suffering from a single gunshot wound who later died at a hospital, Wyatt said.
The victim was identified as Anaheim resident Andrew Guzman, according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office.
A suspect’s description was not available.
The shooting might have been gang-related, Wyatt said.
