Two men and a woman were charged Thursday in connection with a carjacking spree in Anaheim and Orange this week.

Erik Fidel Ramirez, 35, and Victor Manuel Vergara, 31, were charged with five counts of carjacking and co-defendant Elizabeth Esmeralda Hernandez, 27, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, according to court records.

Hernandez pleaded guilty March 11 to buying or receiving a stolen vehicle or equipment with a prior felony conviction, bringing or sending a controlled substance into a jail or prison, both felonies. She was sentenced to 180 days in jail and placed on three years of formal probation.

Vergara and Ranirez also face felony counts of buying or receiving a stolen vehicle and unlawful taking of a vehicle, with sentencing enhancements for the use of a firearm.

The carjackings happened on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, according to court records.
