A crash involving at least two vehicles sent a car careening through a cinder block wall and into a home in Placentia Thursday night, trapping a woman in her car, authorities said.
A man who was a passenger in another car was also injured in the crash, which was reported about 8:30 p.m. on East Bastanchury Road near Brookhaven Avenue, said Capt. Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Authority.
The house sustained only minor damage and no one inside was hurt, the captain said.
The woman and man were in moderate condition when taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, Concialdi said.
The woman was her vehicle’s sole occupant. A man who was driving the other vehicle was not injured, Concialdi said.
Fullerton firefighters assisted at the scene and took the injured man to the hospital.
The crash was being investigated by Placentia police.
