A medical marijuana dispensary on West Ball Road was shut down by Anaheim police Monday for the third time in recent months with three people arrested.

When officers served a warrant at the unmarked business about 3:30 p.m. at 3019 W. Ball Road they found evidence of “butane honey oil extraction,” a process that extracts the THC out of marijuana to “make it more pure,” according to Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt.

Two men and a woman, whose names were not immediately available, were arrested, Wyatt said.

As a precaution, a hazardous materials team was sent to the dispensary, but the location was not considered dangerous, Wyatt said.

The dispensary was also shut down in December, Wyatt told City News Service.
