Torres was among several people attending a party when a fight began in the driveway of the location. During the fight he was stabbed several times.
One person, Nicholas James Tadlock, 22, was detained fleeing the scene and was subsequently booked on suspicion of murder. Detectives were attempting to locate additional witnesses who were at the party.
