A 25-year-old Garden Grove man was killed Wednesday when the vehicle he was driving crashed on the Orange (57) Freeway in the Anaheim area.
The crash occurred about 11:15 a.m. near Katella Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man, whose name was being withheld, was traveling northbound on the freeway in a 1991 Honda CRX when, for an unknown reason, he lost control of the car and swerved across three lanes onto the right shoulder, striking the concrete wall, CHP Officer Gilbert Vela said.
The car overturned and ultimately landed on its roof, Vela said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, Vela said.
CHP officials urged anyone with information about the crash to call (714) 567-6000.
