Three men led Orange County Sheriff’s deputies on a short high-speed pursuit Thursday in Anaheim.
Shortly before 2 a.m., deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Ball Road, which borders Stanton and Anaheim. The driver, who deputies said ran from gang investigators on Wednesday, fled the scene and led deputies on a three-minute pursuit before stopping at Knott Avenue and Savanna Street.
The driver exited the vehicle and it rolled, pinning him to a building wall, said sheriff’s Lt. Scott Ostash. The driver suffered minor leg injuries, Ostash said.
Deputies detained the driver and his two passengers. All three men were taken to the sheriff department’s Stanton station but no arrests were immediately made, Ostash said.
