A man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of firing at parked vehicles in San Clemente.
Deputies were called about 12:30 p.m. to Esplanade and Calle Conchita, where the suspect was allegedly caught in the act, according to Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Mark Stichter.
The man, whose name was not immediately released, was arrested without incident, Stichter said.
No one was injured, and investigators were working to determine if any vehicles were struck by the gunfire, Stichter said.
It was not immediately clear why the suspect opened fire on the vehicles, Stichter said.
