Cypress Police Department Patch

The mystery of a Cypress woman with a rose tattoo on her leg who went missing had a happy ending Wednesday after she was found safe, but the case was still something of a mystery as few other details were being made available by authorities.

Jasveen Dhaliwal, 25, had last been seen about 1 p.m. Monday when her mother dropped her off at her home in Cypress, according to Cypress police.

Concern about the woman’s welfare grew when her 2005 Infiniti G35 was found in the Lake Arrowhead area in San Bernardino County, with her purse and belongings still inside the car.

Dhaliwal was found late this morning in a bed-and-breakfast that was otherwise unoccupied, Cypress police Sgt. Dean Pinvidic said.

It’s possible she got lost and found a place to sleep for the night, but police are unsure how she ended up in the bed-and-breakfast, which was “really close to where she left the car,” the sergeant said.

She was being driven home to her family Wednesday afternoon, Pinvidic said.
