
A motorist was killed Thursday in a collision on Ortega (74) Highway three miles east of the border with Riverside County.
The collision involved a motorcycle and happened about 3:15 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Agustin Latosquin.
Both sides of the highway were closed for hours just before the afternoon rush hour, impacting traffic going into and out of Orange and Riverside counties, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A SigAlert was called, Latosquin said. No further details were available.
