A computer outage at the Department of Motor Vehicles last week was still hampering operations at the Costa Mesa office and one other location in Southern California Tuesday.
The Oct. 24 outage affected DMV offices statewide, but operations were slowly restored throughout the week.
The Oceanside office also still being impacted, according to the agency. Operations at a third location, in San Jose, resumed before midday.
The Costa Mesa office is unable to process driver license and vehicle registration transactions, Jessica Gonzalez of the DMV told City News Service. She said staff is still assisting customers by helping with paperwork, answering questions, scheduling return appointments and conducting drive tests.
Online services remain available to customers, according to the DMV.
