A shooting in Fullerton that police say was fueled by a domestic dispute left one man was dead, another hospitalized and two men in custody.
A 40-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, was fatally injured in Thursday night’s shooting in the 1300 block of South Orange Avenue, according to Fullerton Police Sgt. Jon Radus.
A 22-year-old man, whose name was also withheld, sustained a bullet wound to a hand and was hospitalized, he said.
Zachary Simmons, 20, of Moreno Valley and Andre Evans, 39, of Hesperia, were booked on suspicion of murder, Radus said.
Investigators believe the shooting, which occurred outside an apartment complex just after 9:40 p.m. Thursday, stemmed from a domestic conflict between the victims and suspects, Radus said. The suspects and victims were all previously acquainted, he said.
