The suspect was stopped by police at 9 a.m. Friday in the area of Euclid Street and Crescent Avenue where he got into a fight with an officer, the Anaheim Police Department reported.
Just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, the department announced 33-year-old Ivan Alberto Arroyo was in custody on suspicion of carjacking.
Arroyo was found inside of a residence and ran before being caught a few blocks away, according to an Anaheim Police Department desk sergeant, but it wasn’t immediately clear where Arroyo was arrested.
