An Orange County Superior Court call center for information about criminal and traffic cases that fell victim to budget cuts in 2013 has been revived, officials said Wednesday.
Anyone seeking information about their citations or cases may call (657) 622-8459. There are operators available to help Spanish and Vietnamese speakers.
Automated service is always available, but operators will answer the phones from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, except when the courts are closed due to a holiday.
A “soft launch” of the call center on Jan. 11 has averaged 145 customers served daily.
