A male was fatally struck by a Metrolink train in the city of Orange in what seems to have been a suicide, authorities said Monday.
It happened just before 6 p.m. Sunday on the railroad tracks at Orange Olive Road and Glendora Avenue, said Orange Police Lt. Dan Adams.
“It appears it was a suicide,” Adams said.
The train stopped after the impact, he said. No one aboard the train was injured.
There were no street closures during the investigation, Adams said.
