A woman was killed Sunday when she drove her car through a red light and hit another vehicle, Brea police reported.

Three people in the other vehicle suffered serious injuries, said Brea police Lt. Darrin Devereux. Police were dispatched to the scene at 2:52 a.m.

The woman, who was not wearing a seatbelt, drove a 2007 Toyota Corolla southbound on Kraemer Boulevard and through a red light at Imperial Highway where she crashed into a 2006 Ford Fusion.

The woman was ejected from the Toyota and died at the scene. A man driving the Ford, along with his two passengers — another man and a woman — suffered serious injuries, Devereux said.

Brea police asked anyone who saw the crash to call (714) 990-7748.
