Seal Beach Police Thursday asked for the public’s help tracking down a hit-and-run driver who injured a pedestrian.

The collision happened just before 6 p.m. on March 2 on southbound Pacific Coast Highway at 15th Street, according to Seal Beach Police Sgt. Michael Henderson. A woman was struck as she was entering her car there, he added.

The driver of the mid-2000 gray or silver Subaru with roof racks kept going, Henderson said. Surveillance video indicates the vehicle turned west onto Anderson Street from PCH in the Sunset Beach area, Henderson added.

The hit-and-run car likely sustained some damage to the passenger side and could be missing the side mirror, Henderson said.

Anyone with information was asked to call traffic investigator Officer Joe Garcia at (562) 799-4100, ext. 1649.
