Seven people were arrested and two firearms were recovered in a gang sweep in Pomona, authorities said Saturday.
The Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Task Force, assisted by additional agencies, conducted a joint operation Friday targeting high-risk offenders and criminal gang members.
It resulted in seven arrests for felony-related criminal offenses including possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine, according to Cpl. J. Martinez of the Pomona Police Department.
