The victim of a fatal hit-and-run killing in Santa Ana this past weekend was identified Tuesday as a 57-year-old resident of Orange, but the first of two motorists whose vehicles struck the pedestrian remains at large.

Juan Manuel Segura was struck by a black pickup truck about 7:50 p.m. Sunday at Broadway and Borchard Avenue, according to Santa Ana police, who said witnesses were unable to make out the make and model.

Segura was then struck by another motorist going north on Broadway, but that driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said.

The pickup truck, which was southbound on Broadway, likely sustained damage to the left front area, police said.

Anyone with information was asked to call investigators at (714) 245- 8200. Orange County Crime Stoppers accepts anonymous tips at (855) TIP-OCCS.
