A crash involving a Fed Ex big rig and a smaller vehicle shut down three lanes on a portion of the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway in Anaheim early Thursday, authorities said.
The collision was reported just before midnight near Coal Canyon Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The impact of the crash caused the truck to overturn and land on one of its sides. One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to reports from the scene.
The eastbound No. 3, 4 and 5 lanes were closed for the investigation and were reopened before 5 a.m.
