A two-alarm fire damaged four units of a commercial building in Santa Ana Monday, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 2 a.m. in the 1500 block of East McFadden Avenue, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi.

About 50 firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority and Orange City Fire Department battled the blaze, which started in one unit and spread into another, Concialdi said.

The flames were out at 2:40 a.m., he said. The four units sustained fire and smoke damage. No injuries were reported.
