A 7-Eleven clerk suffered a head injury when he was pistol-whipped by a suspect during an armed robbery, authorities said.
A man entered the convenience store Sunday night at Western and Crescent avenues, pulled out a gun and hit the clerk with a gun, Buena Park police Sgt. Patrick Carney said.
The gunman got away with an unknown amount of cash.
The clerk was taken to a hospital for treatment of the head injury, Carney said.
